Part 4 of 4 - This series will empower local conservation and nature organizations to understand how their work contributes to solving the twin crises of biodiversity and climate change.
The fourth and final webinar in our latest series will help you gain valuable insights into working and partnering with municipalities.
You will hear from the Hamilton Naturalist Club: Founded in 1919, the Hamilton Naturalist Club has been instrumental in implementing nature-based solutions into the city’s Biodiversity Action Plan. Hear about their successful collaboration with the city to implement initiatives such as pollinator gardens in city parks.
Next you will hear from the Town of Blue Mountains, Climate Action Now Network (CANN): Learn from volunteers who came together after a church event viewing a documentary, forming a group to integrate nature-based solutions into their community. Discover their positive impact on mitigating climate and biodiversity crises.
Thank you to Jen Baker, Hamilton Naturalist Club, Heike Reck, and Sally Leppard, CANN for speaking with us!
