The Twin Crises: Connecting Climate and Biodiversity - Part 3 of 4 Putting the solutions in Nature-Based Solutions The third webinar in this series will pick up where the Natural Asset Initiative (NAI) left off, by hearing from an on-the-ground practitioner, Michelle Lewis, Natural Asset Technician at Town of Gibson's. Gibson's is the leading municipality in Canada to have implemented nature-based solutions into their municipal operations. Our second presenter is Katrina Adams, Restoration Ecologist, Aquatic Biologist, GIS Technician, with Peninsula Streams Society. As a nature group Katrina will share how they are working with municipalities and First Nation communities in the Greater Victoria Area (Victoria, BC). Their work is truly inspiring and you will see first hand how their work is making a real difference for all those involved. Discover the solutions you need to work with your own municipality and how you, as an organization, can get involved in helping prepare for the twin crises.
